So pleased you did this video! As I was going to book Wishes at 60 days out which is how it was a few years ago when I went. I’m at 130 days and had a mini heart attack incase there was no slots left for the date I wanted. I definitely think Wishes is over priced though and not that exciting. Last year at Disney we didn’t do wishes though and it was awful trying to get a good view for the kids (which is the main reason I’ve booked it for our next holiday) The cruise sounds amazing but we are a family of 5 so will have to avoid that one – despite how wonderful it sounds. Fab video! Thanks again (I’m all booked for Wishes on 7th May thanks to you, as I am sure if I had of waited till 90 days to go there would have been nothing left) X

Hi T&S – thanks for the great review of Wishes DP, best I’ve found on the net so far! One question, going for the first time with our 7 year old twins in June and want the best experiences we can find (maybe the first and last time we go $$$!!!). Is the view from the Tomorrowland terrace that much better than anything we could find in the crush below? Really not bothered about the food aspect as we will just have eaten at BoG. So, on view alone (not even considering the money aspect), is this the best spot to view the fireworks without a FP? Thanks!

Thanks for this video. I’m currently planning my wedding and I was thinking of doing the cruise after the reception meal. This has seriously helped me! Would you recommend bringing a jacket? Does it get cold? I’m a Brit too so I’m thinking it doesn’t get as cold as it does here.

Kim Easton says:

Yes a specialty events video would be awesome 🙂

We went last Saturday night (5-14-2016) It’s up to $60.00 per person. We booked same day. The reserved priority seating still requires 6 months advanced booking. The updated process is to escort guests with non-reserved priority seating to the new grass area to view Wishes which is reserved solely for the dessert event. Also, after Wishes you can re-enter the dessert area for more buffet action until 10:30 pm.

Stephanie Ollman says:

We’ve done two Tomorrowland Terrace dessert parties. The first one had a pp photographer the second didn’t. In all honesty you are really paying for the view and less crowds on that one. Thanks for the Ferry Tale review as I’m quite interested in that one, I’ve heard about the limited seating which is a little off putting, but I guess if one gets too tired one can always sit on the floor ha ha! The private cruise is amazing and I would definitely recommend you do next time, it is pricey but so worth it 🙂
