Cooking Fillet Steak on the BBQ – Meater Thermometer Review

I’m a big fan of BBQ gadgets and this one definitely appealed to me, I’ve been watching the progress of the Meater WIreless Bluetooth Thermometer since it was announced as a kickstarter.

I finally got my hands on one recently to test out, and have been very impressed. I wanted to cook a plump fillet steak to test the operation of the Meater. I used my baby Quinta Kamado and banked the coals to one side with some lumpwood charcoal and cooked slowly building up a nice sear. A very nice bit of kit that works well.

Nice video Marcus… That phone notification couldn’t have been times more perfectly as you sliced in and revealed the middle of the meat

Fred Savage says:

It’s to bad the creators treat their kickstarter backers so poorly. I don’t think you can trust this product.

Beef looked Good Marcus, I’m a big fan of BBQ gadgets as well

Be careful with those shirts Marcus. Couldn’t see you in the greenery for a bit.
